OpenPiton Release 4

We are glad to let you know of the new OpenPiton release (16-10-26-r4). The changes in this new release include:

  • Improved FPGA synthesis flow (including support for SLURM)
  • Enabled loading assembly tests to FPGA from a host PC
  • Modified “design” directory structure and Verilog module hierarchy for less code duplication, more clarity, and easier configuration
  • Compatibility with the latest Synopsys Verilog Compiler Simulator (VCS)
  • More robust patching of synthesis and back-end scripts
  • Updated documentation (including configuration guides for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and 16.04 LTS)
